When a develper wishes to create a package for OpenSolaris operating system they need to follow few steps, which may be difficult to grasp, but at the end they are quite straight forward.
This tutorial is dedicated to the developers and users, who would like to build their own packages using Common Build Environment, publishing those to the Image Packaging System (IPS) server and installing on the OpenSolaris operating system.
